SEAT at My TABLE

By Bryan J. Kaus

Whether it's a boardroom, a backyard, or a kitchen - I've always believed the same thing: the ordinary becomes extraordinary when you bring intention and care to it.

Seat at My Table is that belief in cookbook form. Real food, made with confidence, for the people in your life who matter.

Bryan Kaus isn't a trained chef. He's an executive who learned to cook spending time with his grandmother, expanded those foundations during his teens working at his uncle's café along the Delaware in scenic Frenchtown, New Jersey before making the turn and going corporate. Always simmering in the background, he rediscovered the passion for the kitchen when the pandemic turned the world upside down. What started as a creative escape from spreadsheets and conference calls became an Instagram feed, then a flood of recipe requests from friends and family, and finally this book.

This isn't fussy food. It's practical but elevated—weeknight-ready meals that still feel intentional, abundant, and worth gathering around. Every recipe is rooted in improvisation, built through trial and repetition, and written to help you trust your instincts and make it your own.

Get comfortable being uncomfortable. Conquer the fear. Create.
